OnePlus Pad 3 Adds Smarter Pen Controls for Faster Productivity
The OnePlus Pad 3 leans heavily on stylus productivity, supporting the Stylo 2 with 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity, instant shorthand note-taking, and quick annotation gestures. OnePlus has also upgraded its in-OS pen workflow, adding tools like a dedicated swipe-to-annotate feature, all integrated with Open Canvas and the system’s note apps for faster idea capture.

Talking about the software, the OnePlus Pad 3 runs OxygenOS 15 with productivity upgrades such as improved split-screen controls, enhanced drag-and-drop, AI-assisted tools, and smoother cross-device transfers within the OnePlus ecosystem. OnePlus also promises three major Android updates and six years of security patches, strengthening its pitch as a long-term, pro-grade tablet.
OnePlus is offering accessories such as a Smart Keyboard with a large trackpad and an AI shortcut key, along with a tri-fold folio case that works as both a stand and a stylus holder. With these add-ons, the Pad 3 positions itself as a lightweight laptop alternative for everyday productivity, though all accessories are sold separately.
In India, the OnePlus Pad 3 went on sale in early September, with prices starting at ₹47,999 for the 12 GB / 256 GB variant and going up to ₹52,999 for the 16 GB / 512 GB model.
