The Redmi Pad 2 Pro is positioned as a mid-range Android tablet focused on media consumption and everyday productivity.
It combines a large 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, quad speakers, and a 12,000mAh battery for extended streaming and multi-day use, while the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 delivers efficient multitasking performance rather than flagship-class power.
Xiaomi lists first party accessories for the Pad 2 Pro including a keyboard cover, stylus (Redmi Smart Pen), and protective covers, positioning the tablet for light productivity and note taking when paired with those accessories.
The device also supports Wi Fi 6 and, in the 5G SKU, cellular connectivity to enable on the go broadband.
In India the Pad 2 Pro line starts in the mid-range price bracket (launch pricing reported from around ₹24,999 for base configurations), with availability announced during Xiaomi’s January 2026 launch window and online retail availability following shortly after.
Regional pricing and configuration options vary by market.
Performance and User Experience
Strong battery capacity and a large 2.5K/120 Hz display make the Redmi Pad 2 Pro attractive for long-session media consumption and casual productivity.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 positions the tablet in the upper mid-range: capable for everyday apps and light gaming but not aimed at flagship performance.
Accessory support (keyboard, stylus) and HyperOS integration suggest Xiaomi intends the Pad 2 Pro as a versatile device inside its broader device ecosystem.
