Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest flagship tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, marking a significant shift in the company’s hardware strategy.
The device, which headlines the 2026 tablet lineup, distinguishes itself with Xiaomi’s proprietary 3nm “Xring O1” silicon and a 14-inch OLED display, positioning it as a direct competitor to the iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab S Ultra series.
Xring O1 Chipset
The defining feature of the Pad 7 Ultra is the integration of the Xring O1 chipset, Xiaomi’s first custom high-performance mobile processor designed specifically for large-format computing.
Fabricated on a second-generation 3nm node, the 10-core CPU features a prime core clocked at 3.7GHz.
According to Xiaomi’s technical briefing, the move to in-house silicon allows for deeper integration with HyperOS 2, resulting in a claimed 19% improvement in multitasking fluidity compared to previous Snapdragon-powered iterations.
The chipset is paired with an Immortalis-G925 GPU, targeting high-fidelity gaming and professional rendering tasks.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra: Display and Design
The tablet features a 14-inch OLED panel with a 3.2K resolution (3200 x 2136) and a 3:2 aspect ratio, a format favoured for productivity and document handling.
The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and achieves a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, supporting Dolby Vision and HDR10+ standards.
Despite the large footprint, the chassis measures just 5.1mm in thickness, utilizing a unibody aluminium design that weighs approximately 609 grams.
Xiaomi has also introduced an optional “Nano Soft Light” matte display texture, aimed at digital artists seeking a paper-like resistance for stylus work.
Battery
Powering the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is a 12,000mAh battery, one of the largest in its class. It supports 120W HyperCharge technology, which Xiaomi states can recharge the battery from 0% to 100% in under 35 minutes
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra will initially launch in select markets before a broader global rollout later in Q1 2026.
